Summer Programming has come to an end! It was a very successful summer of programming but our greenteam student has gone back to school for another year! 

If you are interested in activities at the Wellness Center, we are looking for volunteers to organize and run activities for the public to enjoy. Pickle ball, yoga, meditation, walking track group, etc.

We host a variety of community activities for adults, seniors, teens, and kids!

Co-Op Community Walking Track

Open to members, or as organized

The walking is open daily from 6AM to 1PM, unless otherwise noted on the calendar. The walking track provides a safe and comfortable environment for individuals of all ages to walk or jog. Whether you're looking to start your morning with light exercise or maintain a regular fitness routine, the track accommodates all paces. Participants should wear clean indoor runners and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Note that when court activities are scheduled, the walking track may be closed. 

Cardio/Strength Area

Opens to members, or as organized

The cardio and strength training area offers a variety of equipment to support heart health and muscle building. From treadmills to circuit equipment, users can customize their workout to fit their goals. A daily CrossFit routine will be posted. Participants should bring clean indoor runners, a water bottle, and a towel for personal use. We are actively looking for funding to provide a start of the art fitness center, and will be improved over time. 

Shuffleboard - Seniors

Thursday 12:30pm - 03:00pm
(5$ per person.)

Shuffle board is on Thursdays, from 12:30PM to 3:00PM

Location: Wellness Center

Yoga

Open to members, or as organized

Yoga classes can be organized for groups or members based on interest. Yoga focuses on flexibility, balance, and mindfulness through guided stretches and poses. Suitable for all levels, these sessions promote stress relief and physical wellness. Participants should bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfortable, stretchy clothing. Ages 16+.

Breakfast Club

Seasonal Break

Breakfast Club will resume in spring 2026, or as organized.

The Breakfast Club meets on Tuesday mornings in the Access Studio from 9:00 – 10:00 AM to enjoy a communal breakfast and social time. Email Lori at info@lrwellness by Monday evening at 6:00 if you wish to order a Subway breakfast sandwich - $6 extra for this (specify sausage and egg, bacon and egg, cheese and egg, ham and egg, or sausage and cheese).  It’s a great opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed setting. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable mug or cup, and may contribute a breakfast item to share if so desired.

Chair Yoga

Thursdays from 4PM to 5PM

Chair yoga classes take place on Thursdays from 4PM to 5PM, with volunteer Shelley Bjornson. This gentle, seated form of yoga is ideal for those with mobility challenges. The virtual sessions help improve posture, flexibility, and circulation. Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing and bring a water bottle.

Stroller Strides

Open to members, or as organized.
Participants without strollers are also welcome!

This walking fitness class occurs on the Co-Op Community Walking Track and is designed for caregivers with infants or toddlers in strollers. Participants should bring a stroller, water, and wear appropriate activewear and clean indoor runners. Rags for cleaning stroller wheels will be provided. Participants without strollers are also welcome!

Fit Kids Club

Seasonal Break (ages 3-8 Adult supervision required)

Fit Kids Club will resume in spring 2026, or as organized. 

Held on Mondays at 11:00 AM in the Fieldhouse, Fit Kids Club offers fun, high-energy activities designed to get young kids ages 3-8 moving and develop their fitness. Expect games, basic exercises, and laughter. Children should wear athletic clothes, clean indoor runners, and bring a water bottle. Adult supervision required.

Kinder Craft Club

Open to members, or as organized. (ages 4-6 Adult supervision required.)

Kinder Craft Club will resume in spring 2026!

Running Tuesdays at 11:00 AM in the Access Studio, this club features hands-on creative projects for 4-6-year-old children, developing fine motor skills and imagination. Supplies are provided, but children should wear clothes that can get messy and bring a water bottle. Adult supervision required.

Preschool Tumblers

Temporarily Unavailable at this time.

Scheduled in the Fieldhouse, Preschool Tumblers introduces young children to basic tumbling and movement in a fun, safe environment. Kids should wear flexible clothing and grip socks (or go barefoot). Adult supervision is required.

Play Group

Open for members, or as organized.

Taking place on the Fieldhouse level, Play Group is a bonding time through unstructured play, games, and movement for caregivers and their young children. Participants should bring any personal baby/toddler needs such as diapers. Clean indoor shoes are required on the Fieldhouse.

Wee Kicks Soccer

Open to members, or as organized. (Adult supervision required. Ages 3-6)

Wee Kicks is an introductory soccer program for young children to develop coordination and teamwork through fun drills and games. Kids should bring clean indoor runners, a water bottle, and wear athletic clothing. Adult supervision required. Recommended ages 3-6.

Kids Yoga

Open for members, or as organized. (Adult supervision required. Ages 4-9)

Kids Yoga runs with an online yoga master guiding children through storytelling and age-appropriate poses, breathing, and relaxation techniques. The class enhances balance, focus, and calmness. Participants should bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes. Adult supervision required. Recommended Ages 4-9.

Cards and Games Club

Open for members, or as organized. (For Adults, but players 14+ welcome)

Meeting in the Access Studio, Cards and Games Club invites players of all experience levels to play their favourite card/board games.

Card Game Night

Open to members, or as organized. (Open to adults and ages 16+)

Grab your cards and join us for an evening of fun and friendly competition in the Access Credit Union Studio. Card Game Night is the perfect chance to enjoy classic games like Cribbage, Rummy, Hearts, Euchre and more! Whether you're a seasoned player or just learning, there's a seat at the table for you. Come solo or bring a friend—cards and some game supplies will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. Let the games begin!

Table Tennis

Open to members, or as organized. (All ages 10+ welcome (children under the age of 12 require adult supervision)

Table tennis sessions are open to casual players and those wanting a fast-paced game. Paddles and balls are supplied, but personal equipment is welcome. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. All ages 10+ welcome (children under the age of 12 require adult supervision).

Floor Hockey

As organized.

Join us for a fast-paced, fun-filled session of floor hockey! This is perfect for kids who love to stay active and play as a team. Participants will learn and practice basic hockey skills, good sportsmanship, and enjoy friendly games in a safe, supervised environment. All equipment is provided. Please bring clean indoor runners and a water bottle. Adult supervision required for kids under the age of 12.

Kids Drawing Club

Open to members, or as organized. Adult supervision is required. Ages 7-11

Let creativity shine in Kids Drawing Club! Young artists ages 7-11 will follow step-by-step instructions to learn how to draw using basic shapes, improve their ability to follow directions, and build foundational artistic skills. Paper and pencils are provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own sketchbook to keep their creations. Adult supervision is required.

Kids Board Games

Open to members, or as organized.
Ages 5-15 (adult supervision required for kids under the age of 12).

This fun time lets kids enjoy classics and new board games in a supervised setting. Some games are available, but children are encouraged to bring their favorites too. Held in the Access Studio. Recommended ages 5-15 (adult supervision required for kids under the age of 12).

Gaming Club

Open to members, or as organized. (Ages 7+ but 9+ for Among Us. Adult supervision required for children under 12)

Gaming Club is setup for gamers to enjoy solo or group games such as Minecraft, Roblox, and Among Us, Fortnite, etc. Participants should bring their own devices with games installed and kids logged in (or bring their credentials for personal accounts). Participants are encouraged to bring headphones as well. Adult supervision required for children under 12.

Pickleball – Youth

Organized Group - Please find "Lakeshore Wellness Pickleball" on Facebook, or we will update page as we have more information.

Youth pickleball introduces the sport through pick-up games. Come on your own or with a partner. All equipment is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own paddle if you have one. Wear clean indoor athletic shoes, sportswear, and bring a water bottle.

Pickleball – Adults
